Last month during a sweep of the grounds near a Pan-Am games venue in Toronto Canada police discovered a hole in the ground.
It had wooden beams to support the tunnel walls and ceiling.
Police ascertain that the tunnel may have been dug by multiple individuals possibly last summer and that who ever dig it had some expertise in doing so. They say while its not a crime to dig a hole the reasons behind why it was dug are suspicious.
In the wake of the recent threats by extremist Jihadi groups against Canada and considering the location close to this Summers Pan-Am games they will have to launch an investigation into it.
